Job description

A large hospital system in Stony Brook, NY is seeking an experienced Oracle HCM Specialist to support HRIS initiatives across Core HR, Reporting & Analytics, and related modules. This role partners closely with HRIS, HR functional teams, and IT to ensure accurate configuration, data integrity, and system stability throughout implementation and post-go-live phases., * Partner with the HRIS team on solution design, ensuring hospital-specific business requirements are accurately configured in Oracle HCM

  • Analyze system defects and unexpected behavior during testing, identify root causes, and recommend or implement corrective actions
  • Lead and support end-to-end data validation efforts, including data conversion, integrations, and reporting
  • Ensure cross-module dependencies are identified, tested, and validated
  • Collaborate with HR functional teams to translate business needs into scalable system solutions
  • Support implementation and post-go-live activities, including issue triage, regression testing, and stabilization

Requirements

Do you have experience in Technical solutions implementation?, This is a hands-on role requiring strong Oracle HCM configuration expertise, advanced Excel skills, and the ability to anticipate cross-module impacts in a complex healthcare environment., * Deep, hands-on experience with Oracle HCM, specifically Core HR and Reporting & Analytics

  • Strong experience designing and validating configurations across multiple modules
  • Advanced Excel skills, including Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, and Macros
  • Experience supporting data conversion and validation efforts
  • Understanding of inbound and outbound integrations and collaboration with IT during testing
  • Prior Oracle HCM implementation experience with the ability to troubleshoot cross-module issues

The ideal candidate brings prior Oracle HCM implementation experience and can confidently own configuration, validation, and testing across Core HR, Reporting, Talent, and Integrations in a complex healthcare environment.
