You will be responsible for troubleshooting hardware and software issues, managing computer systems, and supporting a variety of operating environments including Windows, macOS, and Linux., * Provide technical support to end-users across hardware, software, and network issues, ensuring quick resolution and minimal downtime
- Troubleshoot software problems related to operating systems such as Windows, macOS, and Linux, including application conflicts and system errors
- Manage computer hardware components, including desktops, laptops, mobile devices, printers, and peripherals
- Configure and maintain computer networks including LAN (Local Area Network), WAN (Wide Area Network), VPN (Virtual Private Network), DNS (Domain Name System), TCP/IP protocols, firewalls, and network security measures like Meraki appliances
- Support IT infrastructure management through tools such as SCCM (System Center Configuration Manager), GPO (Group Policy Objects), Active Directory, and BMC Remedy for incident tracking
- Assist with server management tasks involving Microsoft Windows Server environments and Linux servers to ensure optimal performance and security
- Maintain documentation of technical procedures using ServiceNow or Jira for ticketing and issue tracking; perform analysis to identify recurring problems and recommend solutions
Requirements
Do you have experience in macOS?, * Proven experience in providing help desk or desktop support in a fast-paced environment with a focus on customer service excellence
- Hands-on knowledge of computer networking concepts including TCP/IP protocols, LAN/WAN setup, VPN configuration, DNS management, and firewall administration
- Familiarity with operating systems such as Microsoft Windows (including Windows Server), macOS, and Linux distributions
- Experience managing computer hardware components and troubleshooting related issues efficiently
- Proficiency with remote support tools and software troubleshooting techniques for both hardware and software issues
- Strong communication skills to effectively explain technical solutions to non-technical users
- Ability to analyze complex technical problems quickly and implement effective solutions in a timely manner
