Hiring - Web Migration Specialist - WordPress - Atlanta,GA Locals only

We are seeking a skilled Web Migration Specialist to support a large-scale web modernization initiative focused on migrating websites from legacy hosting platforms to a centralized WordPress environment. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with WordPress migrations, web accessibility (WCAG), customer engagement, and website functionality assessment., * Lead and support migration of WordPress websites to a centralized hosting platform

• Preserve SEO, content integrity, accessibility, and site functionality during migrations
• Assess forms, workflows, integrations, search, and plugin requirements to recommend suitable solutions
• Collaborate with customers, internal teams, and vendors to ensure smooth migration execution
• Coordinate DNS/domain updates and troubleshoot migration-related issues
• Maintain migration intake, tracking, documentation, and reporting processes

Do you have experience in WordPress?, * 3+ years of experience building, managing, and migrating WordPress websites

• Strong understanding of WordPress CMS, plugins, and migration best practices
• Experience with WCAG/accessibility standards and remediation
• Ability to gather requirements and explain technical concepts to non-technical users
• Knowledge of DNS, domains, redirects, and URL configurations
• Strong planning, prioritization, and communication skills

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Git/version control systems
• Exposure to higher education or enterprise web environments is a plus
