Job description

Human Resources Coordinator, HRIS provides front-line administrative and customer service support for the Human Resources department, with a primary responsibility for front desk operations and secondary support maintaining the HRIS and assisting with new hire processes.

  • Serves as the primary front desk contact for the Human Resources department, greeting Team Members, applicants, and visitors with professionalism and discretion.
  • Responds to general HR inquiries in person, by phone, and via email, routing questions and requests to appropriate HR team members.
  • Assists the HRIS Manager with entering and maintaining accurate data in the HRIS, ensuring all information is current and correctly recorded.
  • Assists with HRIS reports and provide analysis as needed.
  • Assists with the processing of Gaming, Non-Gaming, and Key Licenses, ensuring all team member licenses are up to date.
  • Assists with processing and filing I-9 forms, tracks expired documents, and maintains the I-9 management platform within the HRIS.
  • Supports new hire onboarding and benefit orientations by preparing materials, coordinating logistics, and assisting during sessions as needed.
  • Maintains organized HR records, including scanning, filing, and data entry, in compliance with record retention and confidentiality standards.
  • Assists with scheduling meetings, orientations, and interviews, and supports general HR administrative activities.
  • Provides assistance with wellness activities, HR events, and department initiatives as assigned.
  • Places and monitors the status of purchase orders, follow-ups on any delays, and resolves discrepancies.
  • Collaborates effectively with HR team members while managing assigned tasks independently and meeting deadlines.
  • Demonstrates a high level of professionalism, ethics, and integrity in all interactions.
  • Provides support across all HR functions as needed.
  • Performs other duties as assigned by the HRIS Manager, Compensation & HR Analytics Manager, Director of HR Ops, and/or the VP of HR.

Requirements

Do you have experience in Productivity software?, Do you have a Associate's degree?, * Must be 21 years or older.

  • Associate degree or above in Business, Human Resources, or closely related field; or equivalent experience preferred.
  • 1 year of related experience in Human Resources.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
  • Some knowledge of HRIS platforms, HIPPA, FMLA, ADA, ERISA, and COBRA.
  • Positive, professional, and forthright manner of communication, with strong listening skills.
  • Working knowledge of company internal controls and Policies and Procedures.
  • Strong proficiency in written English, with the ability to communicate ideas clearly, concisely, and professionally.
  • Previous experience in casino resort and/or hospitality strongly preferred.
