Job description

We're looking for a motivated and curious Graduate Application Engineer to join our brilliant team. This is an ideal opportunity for someone who has recently completed a degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field and is eager to begin their career working with modern software and hardware technologies. You'll support internal teams and customers while developing your technical skills through real-world projects.

This role is based at our Woburn, MA site, working full-time on a hybrid schedule.

What will I be Delivering? In this role, you'll contribute to:

  • Supporting our marketing and sales teams with technical information and simple demonstrations.
  • Assisting with setting up and validating third-party software or middleware products.
  • Helping customers by answering technical questions and acting as a point of contact for software-related support.

You won't be expected to know everything on day one-there's plenty of support and development built in.

Requirements

Do you have experience in Software support?, You don't need years of experience-we're looking for potential, curiosity, and a willingness to learn. Ideally, you'll bring:

  • A basic understanding of software used in embedded systems or a strong interest in learning it.
  • Some experience (projects, coursework, internships) developing small software applications or demos.
  • The ability to communicate technical concepts clearly.
  • An interest in supporting customers or working with cross-functional teams.
  • A willingness to explore and evaluate new technologies., You don't need to be an expert, but familiarity or foundational experience with some of the following would be beneficial:
  • Programming in C or C++, especially in embedded contexts.
  • Basic understanding of Linux or real-time operating systems.
  • Exposure to x86 architecture or general hardware concepts.
  • Awareness of networking fundamentals.
  • Interest in middleware technologies (e.g., VMware, OpenVino, CUDA, OpenDDS). Training will be provided.
