Amazon, one of the top 100 companies in the United States, has an immediate opening for a IT Equipment Coordinator in our Fulfillment Center. Fulfillment Centers throughout the U.S. handle millions of items from tens of thousands of vendors and ships them across the globe each day. The successful IT Equipment Coordinator will be responsible for utilizing his/her skills to provide assistance to the operations team by maintaining IT inventory, coordinating ordering, delivery, and audits of assets assigned to the IT department, and maintaining general standardized housekeeping of all IT areas. Responsibilities include allocation and maintenance of IT equipment throughout the Fulfillment Center. IT Equipment Coordinators are also responsible for the RMA and repair process for all devices under warranty. The IT Equipment Coordinator is a member of the larger IT team within the Fulfillment Center and will specifically support the IT Support Technicians and IT Support Engineers in daily projects and activities as directed. This position reports directly to the IT manager for the Fulfillment Center., * Allocate and perform maintenance of IT equipment

• Ability to follow a technical SOP and perform basic IT support tasks.

• Computer literacy with experience using Windows/Mac and smartphone solutions (i.e., email, calendar, browser).

• Inventory management (e.g., receiving, decommissioning, and liquidating computer equipment).

• You perform software and hardware configuration (e.g., installing new servers or provisioning laptops, installing software programs, simple configurations to software, etc.).

A day in the life A day in the life As a seasonal Equipment Coordinator you will be support onsite IT Support Associates by taking on IT inventory management, helping internal customers with technical support issues, and preparing IT equipment for use by Operations associates.

• Experience with computers and Microsoft Office products and applications
• Experience in the following areas of technology: Windows and Mac OS computers, MP3 players, Internet and related applications (downloading, streaming, connectivity) and especially mobile phones and operating systems (Android OS, Apple iOS, Windows Phone), * Experience in identifying incomplete or inaccurate data, identifying the root cause and creating/implementing an escalation plan
