Principal SAP PaPM Configuration Engineer

Develops and implements solutions and sophisticated models to support complex financial calculations/allocations and reporting. Designs and implements end-to-end solutions that align with best practices and meet critical objectives. Performs troubleshooting, solves complex defect issues and collaborates with subject matter experts. Supports additional parts of the implementation process such as project planning, post implementation support, cutover plans, documentation, and transition planning. Ability to clearly define and communicate design reasoning while anticipating the potential impacts of design decisions. Bachelor's or master's degree in technical or business discipline or equivalent experience. Minimum 8+ years technical/functional SAP Finance experience. Minimum 2-3+ years of proven experience as an SAP PaPM Systems Analyst, Developer or Consultant with successful implementations and system evolution including configuration and customization capabilities. Experience in SAP BW, SAP BPC, SAP S/4 HANA, SAP HANA SQL, OData Services, other Cloud applications. Good knowledge on data modelling and ETL. SAP training in Profitability and Performance Management (PaPM). Experience with Financial Product Subledger (FPSL), FI/CO and reporting modules (Analysis for Office, Web Intelligence, SAP Analytics Cloud). Hands-on experience with SAP S/4 Embedded analytics specifically with Core Data Services (CDS) views development technique. Experience within the Insurance or Finance industry is beneficial but not required.
