Job description
This role is responsible for designing, developing, configuring, and maintaining applications used in an academic setting. This position involves application development, system integration, user support, and ensuring data integrity and security. Optimizes operational efficiency, improves student engagement, and facilitates effective communication within the University environment., * Develops and implements technology solutions in a test environment with complete executable program to test module interaction for production purposes.
- Develops new and supports existing interfaces and performs enhancements as needed.
- Works with users to analyze business needs and offers the best technology solutions that fit within utilized systems.
- Works as a team member on larger projects supporting team leads.
- Helps to train end users on supported enterprise applications.
- Supports application testing, deployment, maintenance, and evolution by correcting programming errors, responding to scope changes, and coding application enhancements.
Requirements
Do you have experience in Writing skills?, Do you have a Bachelor's degree?, * Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or Business Administration.
- 3 years related work experience.
- Documented experience working with an RDBMS (Oracle, SQL Server) in support of academics.
- Experience with two or more of the following programming languages: PL/SQL, C /Pro*C, JAVA, HTML and XML
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office tools.
- Sound judgement and problems solving skills.
- Ability to communicate verbally and in writing with different levels of users.
Physical Demands Lift and carry 25 lbs. frequent sitting/standing, frequent keyboard use, *patient care providers may be required to perform activities specific to their role including kneeling, bending, squatting and performing CPR.
