Job description
We are seeking an experienced IT professional to support and manage NLign's internal information technology environment. This individual will be responsible for day-to-day systems administration, technical support, system reliability, and maintaining secure, efficient IT operations across the organization.
As a hands-on individual contributor, this person will work closely with company leadership, external vendors, and compliance partners to support business needs, maintain infrastructure health, and help ensure systems remain secure and effective. Success in this role requires strong experience supporting IT within a professional business environment, with an understanding that employees are internal customers whose productivity, experience, and ability to thrive are directly impacted by reliable, responsive IT support. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys technical ownership, problem-solving, and delivering high-quality internal support within a growing organization.
This position is based in our Blue Ash office and is full-time. Remote work is available two days per week except Wednesdays., * Manage daily IT systems administration to ensure reliability, security, and performance across core business systems
- Serve as the primary point of contact for internal IT support troubleshooting technical issues, and escalating complex problems as needed
- Administer and maintain Microsoft 365, Active Directory / Entra ID, endpoints, and SaaS applications
- Support onboarding and offboarding processes, including provisioning/deprovisioning access and devices
- Maintain identity and access management practices, including periodic access reviews
- Monitor system vulnerabilities and implement security patches, updates, and remediation efforts to improve security posture
- Coordinate with external IT, security, and CMMC compliance partners to support audits, evidence collection, and ongoing requirements
- Oversee endpoint management, patching, backup systems, and overall system health
- Coordinate with vendors, service providers, and internal stakeholders for hardware, software, and support needs
- Maintain accurate IT documentation, asset inventories, system configurations, and operational procedures
- Assist in evaluating and implementing new tools, technologies, or system improvements as needed
- Track hardware and software assets, device deployments, and lifecycle support
- Provide technical support and guidance to junior IT staff, interns, or help desk personnel when applicable
Requirements
Do you have experience in Technology purchasing?, Do you have a Associate's degree?, * Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Management Information Systems, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related technical field
- 5+ years of experience in IT support, systems administration, or similar roles
- Strong experience administering Microsoft 365 and Active Directory (Azure/Entra ID preferred)
- Experience managing endpoints, user access, and device provisioning
- Strong troubleshooting skills across systems, endpoints, and users
- Ability to coordinate with vendors or service providers as needed
- Familiarity with core IT security practices
- Experience with hardware procurement, deployment, configuration, and ongoing support
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience supporting or working with DoD contractors or regulated environments
- Exposure to cybersecurity frameworks such as NIST 800-171, CMMC, or similar
- Experience with Azure AD / Entra ID, Intune, or other endpoint management tools
- Experience administering Linux machines
- Experience coordinating with compliance or audit processes
- Familiarity with backup and disaster recovery solutions
- Experience implementing or improving IT systems, tools, or processes in a growing organization
