Job description

We are seeking a Help Desk Support Specialist with a strong customer service mindset and solid technical foundation to support end users in a corporate environment. This role is responsible for troubleshooting, resolving, and documenting IT issues while delivering an excellent user experience., + Provide first-line technical support for hardware, software, and network-related issues

  • Manage and resolve incidents and service requests through ServiceNow or a similar IT ticketing system

  • Troubleshoot and support Windows operating systems and Office 365 applications

  • Assist with user account management in Active Directory, including provisioning, deactivation, and password resets

  • Diagnose and resolve issues related to wireless connectivity and general networking

  • Document issues, resolutions, and processes clearly within the ticketing system

  • Communicate effectively with users of varying technical skill levels to ensure timely resolution

  • Escalate complex issues to appropriate teams when necessary

Requirements

  • 2+ years of help desk or technical support experience in a corporate environment

  • Working knowledge of computer hardware and software troubleshooting

  • Experience with ServiceNow or other ITSM/ticketing platforms

  • Familiarity with wireless technologies, networking concepts, and Windows OS

  • Hands-on experience with Office 365 and Active Directory

Skills & Competencies

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills

  • Ability to interact professionally with a wide range of end users

  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities

  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills

  • Customer-focused approach with a commitment to service excellence

Preferred

  • Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, Microsoft certifications) are a plus

Benefits & conditions

This is a Contract position based out of Minneapolis, MN.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $23.00/hr.
