Senior System Security Engineer (Fully Remote - W2, US Citizen)

• Lead the design, implementation, and management of comprehensive security strategies

• Build and maintain secure, resilient systems to protect against evolving threats

• Develop and implement security solutions across infrastructure and applications

• Ensure system hardening across:

• Linux environments

• Windows systems

• Network infrastructure

• Secure cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP) and container platforms (Docker, Kubernetes)

• Ensure compliance with DISA-STIG security standards

• Diagnose and resolve complex security issues, delivering timely and effective solutions

• Partner with internal teams to maintain uptime, compliance, and operational security integrity

• Communicate security risks, findings, and recommendations to stakeholders and leadership

• Operate as the sole, hands-on System Security Engineer, driving initiatives independently
