Job description
As an Application Support Engineer, you will be responsible for acting as a software detective, providing a dynamic service by identifying and solving issues within multiple components of critical business systems. You are expected to be a subject matter expert, collaborate and manage the team to perform effectively, take responsibility for team decisions, engage with multiple teams, and contribute to key decisions. Providing solutions to problems for your immediate team and across multiple teams is a vital part of this role. Advanced proficiency in Java is required. Advanced proficiency in Application Remediation is recommended. Advanced proficiency in IT Troubleshooting and Engineering Support is suggested. Develop a deep understanding of system architecture to quickly diagnose and resolve complex software issues. Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and support of business-critical applications. Lead efforts to improve system reliability by identifying root causes and implementing long-term solutions. Support knowledge sharing by documenting findings and best practices to enhance team capabilities.
Requirements
A minimum of 5 years of experience in relevant related skills.
- Java, Spring, Angular, REST Microservices, PostgreSQL or MySQL (Informix is complicated, but it works with some databases).
- Angular, AWS.
- Bachelors Degree in relevant field of studies.
