Job description
Facilitate all Scrum ceremonies including Sprint Planning, Daily Stand ups, Backlog Refinement, Sprint Reviews, and Retrospectives. Ensure correct and consistent use of Scrum and Agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe as applicable). Support PI Planning, Release Planning, and Scrum of Scrums for scaled Agile setups ct as a servant leader, shielding the team from external distractions and enabling focus on sprint goals. Coach team members on Agile values such as openness, respect, transparency, and continuous improvement. Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and self organization within the team. Proactively identify, track, and remove impediments, risks, and dependencies, including cross team and organizational blockers. Escalate issues appropriately and collaborate with leadership to resolve systemic challenges. Track and report on Agile metrics such as Velocity, Capacity, Burn down / Burn up, and Sprint Predictability. Use empirical data to forecast sprint and release outcomes based on evidence. Lead retrospectives and drive actionable improvements across people, process, and tools. Serve as the primary Agile point of contact for onshore clients and business stakeholders. Facilitate transparent communication on sprint progress, risks, velocity, and delivery health. Work closely with Product Owners to ensure backlog readiness, prioritization, and alignment with business goals. Support Agile transformation initiatives by coaching teams, Product Owners, and stakeholders in Agile mindset and practices. Assist in setting up new Agile teams and improving existing Agile processes. Promote best practices across engagements and contribute to organizational Agile maturity
Requirements
Experience working as Scrum Master in large, distributed or multi team environments, including offshore onshore models Strong knowledge of Scrum, Agile, Kanban, and SAFe frameworks. Proficiency in Agile tools such as JIRA, Azure DevOps, Rally, Confluence, RTC. Solid understanding of estimation techniques, sprint planning, and forecasting. Excellent client facing communication skills (verbal and written). Strong facilitation, conflict resolution, and coaching abilities.
