  • Develop and maintain data models, database designs, and data warehousing solutions utilizing technologies such as Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle, Hadoop, Spark, and Big Data frameworks.
  • Architect and oversee the deployment of NoSQL databases like Cassandra or MongoDB to handle unstructured or semi-structured data efficiently.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define data requirements and translate them into technical specifications aligned with Agile methodologies.
  • Implement ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes using tools like Informatica and develop automated workflows for seamless data integration across platforms including Azure Data Lake and AWS services.
  • Ensure adherence to best practices in database design, data governance, security standards, and compliance regulations.
  • Optimize data pipelines using programming languages such as Java, Python, Bash (Unix shell), ensuring high performance in processing large-scale datasets.
  • Leverage cloud platforms like Azure and AWS to build resilient data lakes and analytics environments that support advanced analytics initiatives.
  • Drive innovation by integrating Linked Data principles for semantic interoperability and enhancing data discoverability across systems.
  • Support analytics teams by providing reliable access to clean, well-modeled data for reporting, visualization, machine learning models, and business intelligence tools.

Requirements

Do you have experience in Spark?, * Extensive experience with NoSQL databases such as MongoDB or Cassandra along with traditional relational databases like Microsoft SQL Server and Oracle.

  • Strong proficiency in cloud platforms including AWS (Amazon Web Services) and Azure (Microsoft's cloud platform), especially in deploying Data Lake solutions.
  • Deep understanding of Big Data technologies such as Hadoop ecosystem components (HDFS), Spark for distributed processing, and related tools for scalable analytics.
  • Proven expertise in designing scalable Data Warehouses and implementing ETL pipelines using Informatica or similar tools.
  • Solid knowledge of SQL programming for complex querying and database management; familiarity with SQL optimization techniques.
  • Experience with Data Modeling principles to create efficient schemas supporting analytical workloads.
  • Familiarity with Agile development methodologies to facilitate iterative project delivery in fast-changing environments.
  • Ability to work with diverse programming languages including Java, Python, Bash (Unix shell scripting), supporting automation and custom integrations.
  • Knowledge of Linked Data concepts for semantic web applications; experience integrating heterogeneous datasets for unified access.
