Job description

The Senior AWS Full-Stack Developer at Altumint will design, develop, and deploy comprehensive software solutions for our visual intelligence and traffic enforcement platform. You'll build applications using TypeScript, develop Python backend services, manage MySQL databases, and architect scalable AWS cloud infrastructure. You'll own the complete solution lifecycle - from frontend interfaces to backend APIs - ensuring seamless data flow through cloud processing pipelines to deliver actionable insights to our customers. Responsibilities

  • Design and develop full-stack applications using Python, TypeScript, and modern frameworks
  • Architect scalable microservices and APIs with efficient MySQL database schemas
  • Engineer and deploy cost-effective AWS cloud solutions, integrating multiple services (EC2, RDS, Lambda, S3, API Gateway)
  • Implement comprehensive testing strategies and CI/CD pipelines
  • Establish coding standards, best practices, and code review processes
  • Lead technical design discussions and architectural decision-making
  • Drive implementation of security, reliability, and compliance best practices
  • Mentor junior developers and contribute to team technical growth
  • Evaluate new technologies and make strategic recommendations

Requirements

Do you have a Master's degree?, * Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or related field

  • 8+ years of professional software development experience
  • 5+ years of experience building full-stack web applications
  • Expert-level Python and TypeScript/JavaScript
  • Experience with modern frameworks (React, Vue.js, or Angular)
  • Strong MySQL experience including design, optimization, and performance tuning
  • 3+ years of hands-on experience with AWS cloud services and architecture
  • Deep knowledge of AWS services (EC2, RDS, Lambda, S3, API Gateway, etc.)
  • Experience with Terraform, AWS CDK, CloudFormation, CI/CD, Docker, and automated testing
  • Strong understanding of software architecture patterns and design principles
  • Advanced Git workflows and collaboration practices
  • Knowledge of security best practices for web applications and cloud infrastructure
  • Ability to work autonomously and drive projects from conception to deployment
  • Experience with Agile/Scrum development methodologies
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Strong communication and collaboration abilities, * AWS certifications (Solutions Architect, Developer, or DevOps Engineer)
  • Experience Docker, Kubernetes, ECS, SQS, SNS, RabbitMQ, CloudWatch, DataDog
  • Knowledge of additional databases (PostgreSQL, DynamoDB, Redis)
  • Experience with GraphQL APIs and frontend testing frameworks (Jest, Cypress)
  • Familiarity with machine learning or computer vision applications
  • Experience in AWS GovCloud or compliance-focused enviro
