- Provide technical support for computer management issues related to both Windows and macOS operating systems, including troubleshooting software and hardware problems.
- Assist users with desktop support tasks, including setting up workstations, resolving connectivity issues, and managing peripheral devices.
- Monitor and troubleshoot network performance issues using tools like ServiceNow, Jira, or BMC Remedy to document incidents and track resolutions efficiently.
- Maintain security protocols by configuring and managing firewalls, VPN access, and other IT infrastructure components to protect organizational data.
- Support the organization's help desk operations by responding promptly to user inquiries via ticketing systems such as Help Desk platforms or ServiceNow.
- Collaborate with the IT team to upgrade systems, implement new technologies, and ensure compliance with industry best practices for network security.
Requirements
Do you have experience in Windows?, * Proven experience in providing technical support within a computer networking environment.
- Familiarity with operating systems including Windows, macOS, and Linux.
- Hands-on experience managing computer hardware components and troubleshooting software issues.
- Knowledge of LAN (Local Area Network) setup, configuration, and maintenance.
- Experience working with network security tools such as firewalls and VPNs to safeguard organizational assets.
- Proficiency in using IT service management tools like BMC Remedy or ServiceNow for incident tracking and resolution documentation.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly to non-technical users.
