Design Engineer

As a Design Engineer, you will drive the development of complex automated machinery and precision tooling by delivering comprehensive engineering packages. You will leverage your expertise in 3D modeling and mechanical design to optimize manufacturing workflows and ensure project success from concept through assembly. Responsibilities

• Develop detailed designs for automated systems, die sets, and specialized press equipment.
• Generate precise assembly and component drawings while ensuring adherence to design standards.
• Manage the full lifecycle of Bills of Material (BOMs) within ERP and PDM environments.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with manufacturing, quality assurance, and procurement teams to resolve technical challenges.
• Execute Engineering Change Requests (ECR) and maintain rigorous documentation for all project revisions.
• Provide technical guidance to internal stakeholders and external clients to facilitate project alignment.
• Contribute to the creation and refinement of comprehensive machine operation manuals.
• Review engineering outputs to guarantee accuracy, manufacturability, and performance.

Do you have experience in GD&T?, Do you have a Bachelor's degree?, * Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or 5+ years of equivalent experience in machine or tool design.

• Advanced proficiency in 2D and 3D CAD software, specifically SolidWorks and AutoCAD.
• Strong working knowledge of GD&T and Design for Assembly (DFA) principles.
• Demonstrated experience with ERP systems and PDM software for data management.
• Excellent analytical and deductive reasoning skills to solve complex engineering problems., * Experience with metal forming processes and industrial automation.
• Proven ability to lead projects and mentor junior team members.
• Strong communication skills with experience in client-facing technical support.
• Adaptability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
