Oracle Apex Developer

We are looking for a Senior Oracle Apex Developer who will make a significant contribution to the development team responsible for development of new applications as well as maintenance and upgrading of current APEX applications., * Liaising with stake holders to acquire new app or enhancement specifications

• Preparation of functional and design specifications based on stake holder requirements
• Take ownership of projects covering whole project life cycle
• Mentor junior developers
• Train users of applications

Education: Ideally degree educated but commercial experience is first and foremost

Qualifications: Oracle Certifications would be an advantage but not essential

Experience Requirements: 3 years minimum working in an Oracle Apex environment

Industry: Services, * 3 years Oracle Apex experience preferred

• Ability to motivate and lead a team to meet milestones
• Delivery of full life cycle projects
• Mentoring junior members of staff

Skills:

Degree in Computer Science or equivalent education and/or experience:

• Oracle SQL, PL/SQL
• Oracle Application Express
• Apex
• Apex Dynamic Actions
• Apex Plugins
• Apex User Interfaces
• Apex Security
• Apex Themes

Non Essential Skills

• PL/PDF and PL/JSON an advantage
• Web Development Skills (HTML,CSS)
• Javascript
• Oracle DBA skills an advantage but not essential
