Job description

In the business-critical role as ERP Implementation Lead, you will be responsible for the implementation of the Dynamics 365 ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) system. Leading on engagement and working with stakeholders from across the organisation; you will be key in influencing and driving the digital transformation programme, managing change and risk to deliver long term results., * Act as the liaison between the ERP implementation partner, internal IT team, and end business users, both in the UK and India

  • Develop and manage the project schedule and timelines with key milestones
  • Facilitate project meetings and workshops to develop new processes into a fit for purpose solution for implementation
  • Understand strategic goals of the organisation and map to KPI metrics to provide ongoing governance
  • Perform gap analysis to identify continuous improvement opportunities
  • Coordinate ERP testing and training sessions for end users
  • Document business processes and requirements, track progress to targets
  • Manage communications and updates on project status to stakeholders
  • Arrange and prepare materials and notes for key project meetings
  • Identify risks and issues, work to develop solutions to address them
  • Track ERP-related issues and bugs throughout implementation
  • Develop reports on project progress, budgets, resource utilisation
  • Ensure all aspects of the ERP implementation are delivered to scope, on time and within budget

Requirements

  • 3+ years prior implementation experience and high proficiency in Dynamics 365 ERP system implementation in a manufacturing business
  • Understanding of project management methodology
  • Demonstrable project management experience in ERP enterprise project life cycle environment, including the management of planning, budget, risks, resources, scope, issues, changes and quality
  • In depth knowledge of D365 system with experience in helping to develop, design and configure solutions. Modules include Finance, Supply Chain Management, Sales Enterprise, Project Operations, Field Service, Customer Insights, and HR with Power Apps and Power BI extensions as required
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to work with ambiguity
  • Exceptional ability to influence at all levels
  • Strong project planning and organizational skills
  • Ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines
  • Attention to detail with problem solving aptitude
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite tools and project management software
  • Broad business process experience
  • Excellent analytical and strategic skills
  • Ability to create a training plan and mentor others in the company on project management

Benefits & conditions

  • Outside IR35 contract
  • 12 month term - possible extension
  • Daily rate £550 to £650 per day
