Job description

We are seeking an experienced Oracle Database Administrator to support enterprise automation initiatives and infrastructure modernization projects. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Oracle Database Administration, Oracle Exadata, Linux Administration, High Availability, Disaster Recovery, and automation technologies., * Administer, monitor, and support Red Hat / Oracle Linux environments in enterprise infrastructure.

  • Install, configure, patch, and maintain Oracle databases and Linux servers.
  • Manage Oracle Exadata environments and database replication technologies.
  • Support HA/DR configurations, storage systems, and virtual machine environments.
  • Configure and manage file systems, volume groups, and Logical Volume Manager (LVM).
  • Administer network services including DNS, NFS, LDAP, Kerberos, NTP, SSH, HTTP/HTTPS, etc.
  • Perform server troubleshooting, break/fix activities, and infrastructure support.
  • Ensure server security compliance and operational stability.
  • Develop automation scripts and system installation/configuration procedures.
  • Create and maintain operational documentation and support processes.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of Oracle Database Administration experience.
  • 5+ years of Oracle Exadata Administration experience.
  • Strong experience with Oracle Enterprise Manager (OEM).
  • 5+ years of experience with Oracle GoldenGate.
  • Strong Linux Administration experience (Red Hat / Oracle Linux).
  • Hands-on experience with Linux Shell Scripting.
  • Strong understanding of High Availability (HA) and Disaster Recovery (DR) solutions.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills., * 5+ years of enterprise IT infrastructure experience.
  • Strong scripting skills in Bash and/or Python.
  • Experience with Ansible and configuration management tools.
  • Experience with Oracle ZFS Appliance.
  • Exposure to Foglight Monitoring Tool.
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively within global teams.
  • Understanding of enterprise-scale infrastructure including hardware, storage, and networking.
  • Project coordination and oversight experience preferred.
