• Ability to design, develop, and deploy modular cloud-based systems
• Experience in developing software using languages such as Java, Python.
• Excellent programming skills to ensure the proper interpretation and implementation of code.
• Documented experience working with data and relational mapping.
• Identify, analyze, and resolve infrastructure vulnerabilities and application deployment issues
• Regularly review existing systems and make recommendations for improvements and cost efficiencies.
• Develop and maintain cloud solutions in accordance with customer best practices and guidance.
• Demonstrated experience working with Agile Scrum based development team.
• Interact with clients, provide cloud support, and make recommendations based on customer needs
• Experience with DevOps/Platforms: Amazon Web Services (S3, RDS, EC2, ECS, Lambda, SQS, SNS, CloudFormation, etc.), Docker, Ansible.
• Documented experience with open-source technology, software development and system engineering.
• Demonstrated experience utilizing DevOps tools, such as GitHub and Jenkins, to enable continuous integration and continuous delivery
• Strong understanding of web services, API, REST.
• Demonstrated experience working with Agile Scrum based development team

DESIRED SKILLS AND DEMONSTRATED EXPERIENCE:

• Familiar with Assessment & Authorization process and associated artifact collection process
• Familiarization with Hadoop distributed file systems (HDFS)
• Background utilizing JIRA for documentation and tracking of software development tasks

WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO SUCCEED:

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline, or the equivalent combination of education, technical certifications or training, or work experience., 10 + years of related experience

• may vary based on technical training, certification(s), or degree Certification

• Hours: Contract core hours, 9am - 3pm
• After-hours on call rotation is a requirement for this position. It is normally one week at a time and rotates approximately every eight weeks.
• Security Clearance: TS/SCI with Polygraph
• US Citizenship Required

• Rest and recharge with paid vacation and holidays, The likely salary range for this position is $158,855 - $214,921. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
