Network Engineer

• Support and maintain network security systems including firewalls, URL filtering, IDS/IPS, and VPNs

• Implement and manage AWS network security services such as Security Groups, NACLs, Transit Gateway, and VPC architectures

• Support the architecture, design, and deployment of network security solutions

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance network security protocols and practices

• Participate in change management processes to ensure secure and reliable network operations

What's Needed?

Our client, a leading technology organization, is seeking a Network Engineer to join their team. As a Network Engineer, you will be part of the Security Operations supporting the IT and Security teams. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication, and a collaborative mindset, which will align successfully in the organization., + 4+ years of experience supporting production network security environments

• 4+ years of IT systems, application engineering, or administration experience

• Hands-on experience with AWS network security services including AWS Network Firewall, Security Groups, and NACLs

• Practical knowledge of PKI, cryptography, and certificates

• Strong understanding of the OSI model and Layer-7 protection techniques related to network security
