Job description
- Design and implement end-to-end data pipelines on Azure and Microsoft data platforms
- Develop ETL/ELT workflows using Azure Data Factory, Databricks, and Synapse
- Build robust and scalable data models (Star Schema, Data Vault principles)
- Design and maintain data storage layers using Azure Data Lake and Blob Storage
- Develop SQL transformations and Spark-based processing (Python / notebooks)
- Contribute to modern lakehouse architectures (including Microsoft Fabric ecosystems)
- Support BI teams in delivering curated datasets for Power BI and analytical reporting
Run side:
- Ensure monitoring, reliability, and performance of data pipelines
- Troubleshoot data processing issues (latency, quality, failures)
- Maintain and evolve existing SSIS/SSAS and SQL Server BI solutions
- Enforce data governance, security, and compliance standards
- Support CI/CD practices for data workflows in cloud environments
- Monitor and optimize performance and cost of cloud data services
- Document data flows, architectures, and technical solutions
Requirements

- Azure Data Platform: Data Factory, Synapse, Data Lake, Blob Storage
- Microsoft Fabric (data engineering & analytics)
- Databricks (Spark, Python, notebook development)
- SQL Server (advanced T-SQL querying and optimization)
- Microsoft BI stack: SSIS, SSAS, Power BI
- Data modeling: Star Schema, Data Vault principles
- Programming: Python, SQL, Shell scripting
- Nice to have: Delta Lake, SSRS
- Dutch + English (mandatory) / French (nice to have)
