Tesla is seeking an Asset Specialist to join the IT Infrastructure team supporting the EMEA region. This role is responsible for the accurate tracking, management, and lifecycle oversight of IT hardware assets. The successful candidate will work directly with the asset management application to ensure data integrity, maintain optimal inventory levels, and support end-to-end hardware lifecycle processes. - Asset Management: Operate the internal asset management application to record and track all hardware movements, ensuring accuracy in order quantities, specifications, and inventory records through regular system-to-physical reconciliation.
- Procurement & Inventory Control: Collect and process equipment requests, submit Purchase Requests to Procurement, and collaborate with the planning team to maintain stock levels that support uninterrupted production and daily operations.
- Logistics and Storage Management: Coordinate inbound and outbound shipments across EMEA locations, ensuring automated and accurate inventory movement. Organize and maintain secure, audit-ready storage facilities with proper labeling and segregation.
- Lifecycle Management: Conduct regular hardware audits, manage the Return to Vendor (RTV) process end-to-end, oversee equipment returns and disposal, and administer maintenance schedules and warranty contracts with suppliers.
- Vendor Coordination: Serve as a point of contact for suppliers regarding orders, returns, and service agreements. Apply negotiation skills to resolve discrepancies and manage delivery timelines.
- Compliance: Prepare management reports on inventory, shipments, and audit findings. Support internal and external audits with accurate documentation.
Requirements
Do you have experience in Negotiation?, Do you have a Bachelor's degree?, * Bachelor's degree in computer science, IT, Science, or related field, with practical supply chain experience in the IT or production domain.

Proficiency with asset management software and Microsoft Excel; general understanding of IT hardware types and lifecycle requirements.

Excellent attention to detail, organizational and communication skills, with demonstrated negotiation and problem-solving abilities. Ability to navigate ambiguity, work independently, and priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Ability to lift up to 25 kg.

Working experience in automotive or manufacturing environment is a big plus

Proficiency in the German language is a big plus.
