Lecturer in Data Analytics

SIRM College is seeking an experienced Lecturer in Data Analytics to join our academic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality instruction, fostering student engagement, and contributing to the development of our data analytics programme. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals passionate about education and data-driven insights to inspire the next generation of professionals., As a Lecturer, you will deliver engaging, practical teaching that goes beyond slide-based instruction.

• Deliver expert instruction: Teaching SQL, Python/R, Data Visualization (Tableau/Power BI), and Statistics and data analysis.
• Mentor Learners: Guiding students through real-world projects and portfolio building.
• Provide assessment and Feedback: Marking assignments against NCFE standards and ensuring students are industry-ready.
• Curriculum Adaptation: Tailoring classroom sessions to meet the diverse needs of adult learners.

Do you have experience in Teaching?, * Subject Matter Expertise: Proven experience in Data Analytics or a related field (Statistics, Computer Science).

• Teaching Credential: A recognised teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE, Level 5 DET, or AET) is highly preferred.
• NCFE Familiarity: Experience delivering NCFE or similar vocational qualifications is a significant advantage.
• Flexibility: Ability to travel between and teach at both our Ilford and Leicester locations.
• Communication: Ability to explain complex data concepts in a clear and engaging way.
