Software Engineer

We are seeking a highly motivated and technically capable Smart Tanks Software Engineer to take ownership of the Smart Tanks software stack. This role is central to ensuring smooth operation, continuous improvement, and customer satisfaction for our IoT-enabled rainwater harvesting tank monitoring and control systems. You will serve as the technical lead, working cross-functionally with internal teams, end-customers and UK/European partner(s)., * System Support & Improvement

• Maintain, support, and enhance the Smart Tanks software stack.
• Monitor system performance and implement upgrades or fixes as needed.
• Customer & Partner Engagement
• Serve as the primary technical contact for customer and partner queries.
• Assist in drafting and reviewing technical aspects of customer proposals.
• Cross-Functional Coordination
• Collaborate with the COO to evaluate the new end-customer/partner system proposals.
• Work with the Purchasing Department to ensure correct components are ordered for new installations
• Hardware Configuration
• Configure and test IoT controllers for integration into new control panels.
• Ensure quality and reliability of systems before handover to the end-customer's electrical contractor.
• Project Commissioning, Technical Support & Troubleshooting
• Provide first-line technical support to customers and internal stakeholders.
• Offer remote support to field engineers across UK & Europe during system commissioning.

Do you have experience in Microsoft SQL Server?, * Proven experience at a senior level of full-stack .NET web development in a Windows Server environment.

• Experience with the following technologies:
• Microsoft SQL Server
• Javascript
• C#
• C or C++
• Windows Services
• Strong technical troubleshooting skills.
• Good communication and customer facing skills.
• Experience with remote system support and configuration tools.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Experience

• IoT and/or industrial control systems.
• AWS or similar cloud services
• Basic understanding of electronics or electrical circuitry.
