Job description
- On-Site Implementation: Install, configure, and test IT hardware, software, and networking equipment (routers, switches, firewalls) at client locations.
- Project Coordination: Assist project manager by preparing work plans, tracking material deliveries, and supervising subcontractors when needed.
- Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve complex technical issues on-site in real-time to minimize downtime.
- Documentation: Maintain detailed records of field activities, produce as-built drawings, and draft progress reports.
- Site Surveys: Conduct site assessments to ensure compliance with project specifications, safety protocols, and quality standards.
- Client Liaising: Act as the primary technical point of contact, ensuring client satisfaction and clear communication regarding project status.
Requirements
Do you have experience in Safety regulations?, We are seeking an experienced Field Project Engineer to lead on-site IT service implementations. The ideal candidate will be hands-on, proficient in networking and server hardware, and capable of managing subcontractors and client relationships to deliver projects efficiently. This role involves frequent travel to customer sites and working under tight deadlines. Providing outstanding customer service is at the heart of our company., Required Qualifications & Skills
- Experience: 3-5+ years in field engineering, IT services, or managed services provider (MSP, MSSP and Cyber Security) environments.
- Technical Skills: Proficient in network configuration (TCP/IP, VLANs, firewalls), server administration (Windows/Linux), and hardware deployment and set up.
- Certifications: Preferred certifications include Cisco (CCNA), Microsoft Server, Security+, or PMP.
- Soft Skills: Strong problem-solving abilities, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently
- Physical Requirements: Ability to travel frequently, must have reliable transportation, lift equipment (up to 50 lbs), and work in varied environments (data centers, construction sites).
- Proficiency in VoiP: Ring Central, Nextiva etc
