Job description
Position Description: Protingent Staffing has an exciting contract Software Quality Assurance Engineer opportunity located in Louisville, CO Job Responsibilities:
- Design, write, and maintain test cases and test plans based on product requirements
- Perform manual testing (functional, regression, exploratory) across web or APIs
- Identify, document, and track bugs with clear reproduction steps and expected vs actual results
- Participate in test execution cycles
- Participate in investigation and reproduction of customer reported issues
- Work with developers, product managers, and designers to understand requirements and identify potential issues
- Maintain test documentation and update test cases as features evolve
- Provide clear test reports and quality status updates to stakeholders
- Own QA efforts for project through development life cycle
- Validate implemented UI against design specifications
Requirements

5+ years of experience in software testing

Experience with bug tracking software such as Jira or click-up

Hands-on experience with both manual and automated testing

Experience with at least one modern automation framework (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright)

Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as GitHub Actions or Jenkins

Experience testing APIs using tools like Postman

Basic knowledge of SQL for data validation

Strong understanding of QA methodologies, testing types, and software development lifecycle

Experience testing subscription-based products

Experience working effectively in a remote or distributed team environment, with strong communication and self-management skills

Nice to Have:

CMS experience

Familiarity with python and browser stack

Experience with test case management tools like TestRail

Experience testing tts platforms, accessibility, security.
