Job description
- Act as escalation point for complex technical issues (servers, network, cloud, security) coming from Tier 1/2 teams.
- Administer and troubleshoot Windows Server environments (Active Directory, DNS, DHCP), virtualization (VMware, Hyper-V), cloud (Azure, AWS).
- Manage and configure network infrastructure: firewalls, switches, routers, VLANs, VPNs.
- Implement and maintain Microsoft 365 / Office 365, hybrid cloud solutions, backup/disaster recovery technologies.
- Create documentation, best practices, and knowledge-base articles; mentor junior technicians.
- Work directly with clients (onsite) when required: site surveys, project design, pre-/post-sales technical support.
Requirements
Do you have experience in Windows?, Do you have a Bachelor's degree?, * 5+ years of experience in IT support/engineering within an MSP environment.
- Strong hands-on experience with Windows Server, AD, Hyper-V/VMware, Azure or AWS.
- Network & security experience: firewalls, switches, routing, VLANs, VPNs.
- Experience with RMM/PSA tools (e.g., Kaseya, Autotask, Datto) is a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving, documentation and communication skills (client-facing).
- Certifications such as CompTIA Network+/Security+, Microsoft, Cisco are preferred.
- Must be able to work onsite (local candidates only)., * Bachelor's (Preferred)
Experience:
- Help desk: 2 years (Preferred)
- IT support: 2 years (Preferred)
