Job description
The IT Technician II is a developing technical leader within our organization. This role combines strong technical troubleshooting, excellent customer service, and teamwork.
You'll resolve the majority of day-to-day technology challenges, support fellow technicians, and help ensure our customers experience reliable, responsive IT support. You'll also continue expanding your technical depth while working closely with Directors and System Administrators.
This position is ideal for someone ready to move beyond entry-level support and grow into advanced technical and leadership opportunities.
What You'll Do:
- Provide advanced technical support for schools and municipal clients both onsite and remotely
- Resolve most technology issues independently while knowing when collaboration or escalation is needed
- Deliver exceptional customer service in classrooms, offices, and virtual environments
- Help maintain strong customer satisfaction and service reliability
Be Part of a Strong Team
- Serve as an escalation resource for Associate and Level 1 Technicians
- Collaborate closely with Directors, System Administrators, and teammates
- Mentor and support team members through knowledge sharing and collaboration
- Contribute to our internal knowledge base and shared learning culture
Grow Your Technical Skills
- Troubleshoot hardware, software, and supported network issues
- Work within Google Workspace, Office 365, Mobile Device Management, and education/municipal platforms
- Partner with vendors to resolve complex issues
- Assist System Administrators with higher-level troubleshooting under guidance
- Develop specialization in an area of technology or customer experience

Requirements
Do you have experience in Teamwork?, Do you have a Associate's degree?, * Strong troubleshooting skills across classroom and business technology environments
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Understanding of K-12 school and/or municipal environments preferred
- Experience with:
- Google Workspace / Clever
- Office 365
- Mobile Device Management
- Zendesk or ticketing systems
- Basic networking concepts and terminology
- Self-aware problem solver who knows when to escalate and collaborate
- Team-first mindset with strong professionalism and accountability

Email Etiquette Certification, * Associate degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field - or equivalent professional experience, * The position involves light physical demands, such as exerting up to 20 lbs. of force occasionally, and/or up to 10 lbs. of force frequently, and/or a negligible amount of force constantly to move objects. Tasks may require prolonged periods of visual concentration and require moderate levels of eye/hand/foot coordination.
