Job description
Working for a high-precision engineering manufacturing company, the role of Software Developer will join the existing IT Department with the primary task of developing the bespoke in-house production control system. The aim being to develop a 'next-generation' system which is sustainable and maintainable in the long term.
This shall include developing and implementing new features to enhance business functions, transitioning existing features to an updated user interface by re-coding and support of the existing system.
Requirements
Do you have experience in Software development?, * Relevant industry programming experience of 5 years or more
- Skilled in software development for desktop and/or client-server applications
- Proficient in modern high-level languages such as C#, .NET.
- Familiarity with WPF
- Experienced with client-server application development using relational databases
- SQL database experience for designing for creating database tables and objects, Oracle database preferred
- Ability to understand existing VB code and PL/S
- Health, safety and environment compliance.
