SAP Platform Architect

Focus on SAP is a specialist SAP and ERP Recruitment organisation offering both permanent and contract staffing solutions on a global scale., Role - We are seeking an experienced SAP Platform Architect to join an enterprise architectural governance function supporting large-scale SAP cloud transformation programmes. This is a strategic architecture and assurance role focused on reviewing, governing, and validating SAP cloud solution designs across complex enterprise environments. The position is centred on architecture oversight and governance rather than hands-on delivery. Key Responsibilities:

• Architecture Governance & Assurance

• Act as the lead SAP Platform Architect within enterprise governance and assurance forums

• Provide architectural oversight across SAP cloud platforms including:

• SAP Ariba

• SAP Concur

• SAP Fieldglass

• SAP SuccessFactors

• Review and approve:

• Solution architectures

• Integration designs

• Non-functional requirements

• Cloud & Integration Architecture

• Ensure solutions meet enterprise standards for:

• Security

• Scalability

• Resilience

• Performance

• Govern integration patterns between:

• SAP cloud platforms

• Enterprise systems

• Third-party applications

• Validate adherence to enterprise cloud, data, and integration principles

• Stakeholder & Vendor Management

• Work closely with:

• Internal architecture teams

• Third-party system integrators

• External delivery partners

• Provide independent architectural challenge and assurance feedback

• Identify and mitigate architectural risks early in the delivery lifecycle

• Architecture Review & Compliance

• Lead and participate in:

• Architecture Review Boards (ARBs)

• Governance and design authority forums

• Maintain:

• Architecture artefacts

• Decision logs

• Governance documentation
