Job description
The Digital Project Manager will lead Ross Companies Ltd.'s transition from paper-based, email-driven information management to a controlled digital workflow using a collaborative Common Data Environment (CDE). Working closely with the Company and University supervisors, the postholder will:

Map current tender-to-delivery processes (office, workshop and site),

Define future-state workflows,

Specify and coordinate required software/hardware,

Support configuration and rollout.
The role will manage pilots on live projects, capture lessons learned, and drive adoption through training, guidance materials and stakeholder engagement (including subcontractors, suppliers and clients). The Project Manager will also monitor progress, risks and interoperability issues, and embed the new ways of working so the business can tender for and deliver projects faster, with fewer errors and rework.
Requirements
Do you have experience in Process improvement?, * A degree in Industrial Engineering, Business Information Systems, Software Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
- Demonstrable knowledge and experience of managing process improvement projects in a manufacturing environment.
- Experience training people.
- Must be legally entitled to work in Northern Ireland/UK and travel throughout the island of Ireland/EU if required; if you do require a visa/work permit allowing you to work in Northern Ireland/UK you must upload a copy of it with your application. Failure to provide a relevant Visa/Work permit may result in your application not being considered., * Background in engineering.
- Demonstrable experience in project work involving data analysis and the integration of digital systems within a physical operational environment.
- Strong proficiency in process mapping and the ability to translate manual workflows into digital requirements.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage both production staff, contract staff and senior management to drive change.
- Computer modelling experience incl eg experience working with MIS or ERP systems
- Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles
- Previous experience in an engineering, manufacturing or production environment.
