Software Tester

Responsible for designing and executing test plans, identifying defects, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to resolve issues., * Ensuring that all activities performed are executed in strict accordance with Trident's Health and Safety Policy.

• Design and execute test plans for software products, including functional, regression, and performance testing.
• Identify and document defects and issues using bug tracking tools and provide feedback to the development team.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, designers, and project managers, to resolve issues and ensure product quality.
• Perform manual and automated testing of software products.
• Develop and maintain test cases, test scripts, and test data.
• Analyse and report test results to stakeholders, including senior management.
• Identify and recommend process improvements to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the software testing process.
• Stay up to date with industry trends and developments in software testing methodologies and tools.

Nature & Scope:

• Contacts: Occasional customer contact on a technical pre-sales support basis
• Level of Responsibility: Responsible for ensuring that products are being built with an appropriate degree of diligence.
• Decision-Making Authority: Operating: Low level of decision-making authority, follows established procedures.
• Physical and Sensory Demands:

• Physically Sedentary, Sensory demand is Moderate.
• Extensive DSE (Display Screen Equipment) Use.
• Extensive periods of concentration with attention to detail.
• Prolonged periods of sitting with opportunity to take breaks when required.

• Working Environment:

• Office environment, primarily working from home.

Do you have experience in Test management tools?, * Understanding of software testing methodologies, including functional, regression, and performance testing.

• Attention to detail and ability to identify and document defects accurately.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with a diverse range of stakeholders.

Education Required:

ISEB / IQTSB certification (or equivalent) in software testing.

Education Preferred:

• 3+years of experience in software testing

Experience:

• 3+years of experience in software testing
• Experience with bug tracking tools and test management software.
• Familiarity with automated testing tools and scripting languages.
