Job description
- Lead the IAM Operations team, providing direction, coaching and support.
- Oversee daily IAM operations including provisioning, de-provisioning, PAM, service accounts, role management and certification.
- Drive automation and self-service enhancements for IAM processes.
- Serve as escalation point for complex IAM issues, incidents and service requests.
- Ensure operational SLAs and KPIs are met, driving continuous improvement.
- Embed IAM controls aligned to NIST, ISO27001, GDPR and SOX.
- Deliver data-driven IAM metrics to monitor effectiveness.
- Partner with security, risk, audit and compliance teams on assessments and remediation.
- Lead IAM incident response activities and coordinate issue resolution.
- Identify and deliver improvements in IAM processes, including scripting and automation.
- Act as trusted advisor to business units, ensuring controls balance security with usability.
- Support JML process optimisation through close collaboration with HR and ITSM.
- Communicate IAM performance, risks and initiatives to senior stakeholders.
- Foster a security-first, zero-trust culture within IAM and across the organisation.
- Lead and develop a high-performing team with strong accountability and collaboration.
Requirements
Do you have experience in Scripting?, Do you have a Bachelor's degree?, * Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in IT, Cybersecurity or related field.
- Professional certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CISA or IAM-specific qualifications.
- 7+ years' experience in cybersecurity or identity roles, including 5+ years in IAM operations leadership.
- Expertise in identity lifecycle, RBAC, PAM and access governance.
- Hands-on experience with IAM technologies such as SailPoint, CyberArk, BeyondTrust, Okta or Entra ID.
- Strong understanding of regulatory frameworks (ISO 27001, NIST, GDPR).
- Skilled in automation and scripting (PowerShell, Python, REST APIs).
- Excellent stakeholder management, communication and problem-solving skills.
- Proven experience managing teams, vendors, budgets and delivering large-scale IAM solutions.
