Job description

The IT Manager will be responsible for overseeing the organization & information technology infrastructure, including networks, systems, security, and hardware. This role requires a strong IT professional who can solve issues, strategize for future technology needs, ensure data security, and provide technical support to all staff members. This role involves both strategic thinking and hands-on implementation. The ideal candidate will be a hands-on problem solver with excellent communication skills and a commitment to maintaining high levels of operational efficiency. This position is an opportunity to build and shape the IT function from the ground up for a growing cultivation and processing operation., * Own and support all IT systems, including network, servers, endpoints, and cloud platforms

  • Provide hands-on support for end users (hardware, software, and access issues) Manage identity and access (Active Directory, Google Admin Console, ERP, METRC)

  • Implement and enforce IT security policies, monitoring, and endpoint protection

  • Oversee backups, disaster recovery, and business continuity planning

  • Manage vendors, service providers, and IT-related contracts

  • Develop and maintain IT documentation, standards, workflow documentation, and asset tracking; partner with teams to identify, recommend, and implement IT system improvements that support operational efficiency, ERP functionality, user training, and technology adoption.

  • Support onboarding/offboarding processes and user lifecycle management

  • Plan and implement IT infrastructure for new sites and expansions

  • Monitor and manage the Help Desk queue and ensure timely resolution of issues

  • Manage IT budget and recommend cost-effective solutionS

  • Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

Do you have experience in Windows?, * 5+ years IT experience (with infrastructure + support mix)

  • Experience as a solo IT or small-team lead
  • Strong knowledge of: Windows / AD, Google Workspace, Networking fundamentals
  • Hands-on troubleshooting across systems, networks, and endpoints
  • Experience imaging/re-imaging computers
  • Experience troubleshooting and removing malware and any network-related security issues
  • Ability to multitask and adapt to an ever-changing environment while providing attention to detail, and ensuring work is complete
  • Provides top-level customer service to internal customers by providing accurate and timely information and doing so with a polite and professional demeanor
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong time management skills by planning and prioritizing work to accomplish all tasks
  • Ability to be proactive and take initiative by identifying needs and taking action before being asked
  • Ability to manage and prioritize large volumes of IT Support Requests
  • Experience working with highly sensitive and confidential materials and the ability to maintain confidentiality in all situations.
  • Must already possess or be able to qualify to receive a Colorado Marijuana Enforcement Division (MED) support badge and be 21 years of age or older

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with MS D365 or similar ERP system
  • Experience with Ubiquiti / Fortinet
  • Experience with VoIP

Physical Requirements:

  • Sitting for extended periods of time
  • Ability to perform the following physical tasks: sitting, standing, stooping, stretching, walking, bending, twisting, reaching, performing repetitive motions, and carrying boxes

Other Requirements:

  • In-office attendance is expected and is considered an essential function necessary for the efficient operations of the business
