Senior Database Administrator (DBA) - 12+ Years Experience

This role requires strong hands-on experience with both Amazon Web Services and Microsoft Azure cloud database environments. Advanced industry certifications are mandatory. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, maintaining, and securing complex database systems that support critical business operations. Your proactive approach will ensure high availability, performance tuning, and robust data integrity across diverse platforms .

You will work with our local branch offices staff and partner locations within 30 mile radius in Southern California Orange County locations.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, administer, and maintain enterprise database environments.
• Manage mission-critical production databases with high availability requirements.
• Perform database performance tuning, optimization, and capacity planning.
• Design and maintain backup, recovery, disaster recovery, and replication strategies.
• Implement and maintain database security, auditing, encryption, and compliance controls.
• Support cloud-native and hybrid database architectures in AWS and Azure.
• Monitor database health and proactively resolve issues.
• Perform database upgrades, migrations, patching, and system enhancements.
• Automate routine DBA tasks using scripting and infrastructure automation tools.
• Maintain technical documentation, operational procedures, and standards.
