Job description
Lead and manage multiple landscape architecture projects from concept through construction documentation and implementation. -Develop, coordinate, and review design plans, construction documents, specifications, and cost estimates. -Prepare compelling proposal materials, project narratives, and visual presentations to support business development and marketing efforts. -Oversee project schedules, budgets, and deliverables, ensuring high-quality outcomes that meet client goals and firm standards. -Facilitate public engagement activities such as stakeholder meetings, workshops, and open houses. -Collaborate closely with engineers, planners, architects, and environmental specialists to deliver integrated design solutions. -Serve as a client liaison, maintaining clear communication, managing expectations, and identifying opportunities for new and continuing work. -Guide and mentor junior landscape architects and design staff, fostering growth through design reviews, technical guidance, and career development. -Contribute to the development and refinement of standard specifications, design details, and best practices for the Landscape Architecture group. -Participate in occasional client outreach, marketing, and business development initiatives.
Requirements
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Landscape Architecture from an accredited program. -Licensure as a Landscape Architect in SC (or ability to obtain within 6 months). -6+ years of progressive experience in landscape architecture, including project management and client interaction. -Strong design sensibility, technical proficiency in AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, and/or other relevant design software. -Excellent communication, organization, and leadership skills. -A collaborative mindset with a passion for mentoring and supporting team members. -Bolton & Menk will currently not be providing visa sponsorship or Optional Practical Training Extensions for STEM Students.
