The Business Intelligence Developer transforms data into actionable insights that drive business value using Power BI, Power Automate, PowerApps, and other analytics tools. This role performs process improvement, business process analysis, needs assessments, and preliminary cost/benefit analyses. The position serves as a Subject Matter Expert (SME), data steward, and technical expert for Supply Chain initiatives. The role involves leading projects that require specialized business knowledge and decision-making, influencing stakeholders across the organization to adopt newly re-engineered processes within Waste Management business units. Success in this role requires strong analytical skills, initiative, collaboration, and the ability to thrive in a fast paced environment., To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform the essential duties satisfactorily. - Develops analytics tools and dashboards using Power BI; prepares actionable reports, data summaries, performance changes, and trend analyses for management.
- Provides assessments and recommendations to management, ensuring stakeholder alignment and buy in.
- Designs and develops small to mid-sized applications using PowerApps to automate and improve business processes.
- Collaborates with management and team leaders to contribute strategic vision and integrate diverse ideas related to business intelligence development.
- Conducts business process and systems analyses while evaluating current and future business implications.
- Assists in managing deliverables, cost, schedule, and quality for one or more enterprise solution projects.
- Reviews project progress and outcomes to ensure accuracy, efficiency, and business value.
- Works with internal and external customers, suppliers, and partners to resolve issues, respond to enhancement requests, and test, refine, and institutionalize solutions.
- Drives projects and organizational adoption to achieve measurable business results.

Requirements
- Education: Bachelor's Degree (accredited), or in lieu of a degree, a High School Diploma or GED (accredited) plus four (4) years of relevant work experience.
- Experience: Minimum of three (3) years of relevant experience in addition to the education requirement.

- Preferred: Project Management Institute (PMI) certification.
