Job description

Jeppesen ForeFlight is seeking an Event Technology & Operations Specialist. This is a key member of the Customer Engagement Marketing team. This role will assist the team in designing, planning, and delivering seamless in-person, online, and hybrid event experiences that deepen customer engagement and drive measurable business outcomes. The position blends event technology and online expertise with in-person forum and event operations-from planning through execution and post-event insights.

The ideal candidate brings proven experience in event operations, broadcast and marketing technology, and user experience. You thrive in a fast-paced, interrupt-driven and cross-functional environment. This role partners closely with the marketing, sales, customer success, product teams, and external vendors to ensure events are executed flawlessly and aligned with strategic growth priorities., * Design and manage attendees and partner with other internal teams and vendors to deliver high-quality, scalable event and online broadcasting experiences

  • Manage the build, optimization, and performance of event registration platforms, mobile apps like CVENT, and attendee-facing systems
  • Fully own the webcast/webinar function within the marketing department. Strategize, plan, execute and measure impact of these online events in partnership with the Product Marketing team.
  • Ensure seamless integration across marketing systems (CRM, marketing automation, analytics)
  • In partnership, support end-to-end event planning and execution, from pre-event preparation through onsite delivery and post-event analysis
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders on event planning, timelines, and attendee journey experiences.
  • Manage event project timelines, deliverables, and vendor coordination
  • Oversee onsite event technology operations, including registration systems, check-in, badge printing, and mobile app functionality
  • Quickly troubleshoot and resolve real-time issues to maintain a high-quality attendee experience
  • Conduct QA and testing across all event systems
  • Stay current on event technology trends and best practices

Requirements

Do you have experience in Project timeline management?, * 5+ years of experience in event marketing, event operations, or marketing event technology

  • Hands-on experience with event management platforms such as Cvent
  • Experience leveraging AI tools and technologies to improve event execution, efficiency, and attendee experience
  • Strong understanding of CRM and marketing automation systems, including platforms such as Salesforce
  • Experience supporting in-person, virtual, and hybrid events at scale
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects, budgets, and deadlines simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong attention to detail with a commitment to execution quality and exceptional user experience
  • Excellent executive presence, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills
  • Ability to operate both strategically and tactically in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
  • Demonstrated experience driving operational efficiency, budget optimization, and high-quality event execution
  • Willing and able to travel up to 25%, including international travel
