Job description
We are seeking an IT Compliance & Systems Lead to support, strengthen, and help grow our Firm's network, systems, and security infrastructure. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented IT professional who values accurate documentation, consistent ticket handling, standardization, and best practices-particularly in environments managing sensitive client data.
This position also offers significant room to grow. We are looking for the right long-term fit: someone who brings experience, sound judgment, and leadership potential, and who is interested in developing into a broader management role as the organization and IT function continue to evolve., * Manage internal IT support tickets, ensuring thorough, timely, and consistent documentation of troubleshooting steps, resolutions, and outcomes
- Maintain clear and organized ticket records to support audits, knowledge sharing, and process improvement
- Manage internal daily, monthly, and quarterly audits, including compliance-related documentation
- Provide ongoing administration and support of network infrastructure, including switches and related hardware
- Revamp IT policies, procedures, and security controls to ensure best practice standards
- Interface professionally with internal stakeholders and, external clients regarding IT
- Exercise sound judgment, escalation discipline, obtain appropriate approval before implementing changes
- Mentor and develop entry-level IT administrators, build a team aligned with the company's long-term needs; encourage knowledge sharing and accountability
- Willing to work on weekends/evenings occasionally to support after-hours system changes and IT Outages
Requirements
Do you have experience in Windows?, * 5+ years of experience in IT, including exposure to systems, networking, and security best practices
- Management experience and demonstrated ability to mentor and develop junior staff
- Experience supporting or being directly responsible for a SOC 2 audit, including remediation efforts
- Strong knowledge of networking concepts and infrastructure
- Expertise in an Office 365 environment and Windows 11 operating systems
- Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Positive, professional, and collaborative approach
Bonus Qualifications
- Advanced network administration or engineering experience
- Experience building or scaling an IT function in a regulated or compliance-driven environment, * Mentoring: 3 years (Preferred)
- SOC2: 3 years (Preferred)
