Job description

The Customer Service Representative serves as a customer-focused liaison dedicated to delivering functional excellence and high-quality service support. This role is responsible for managing domestic customer service activities while supporting continuous improvement initiatives through best practices, training, and auditing processes. The CSR will develop a strong working knowledge of the domestic order management system, company policies, and procedures. Experience with SAP-R3 or equivalent ERP systems, including order entry, pricing, documentation, and invoicing, is required. Knowledge of quality systems and prior business experience are preferred. This position provides the opportunity to gain proficiency in multiple business systems and applications, including SAP-R3, SharePoint, and Salesforce.com. The CSR will collaborate cross-functionally with demand and supply planners, market segments, manufacturing sites, warehouses, freight forwarders, carriers, finance teams, and other customer service representatives to meet customer needs while maintaining quality standards., * Respond to customer inquiries in a timely and professional manner

  • Process and monitor sales orders throughout the order fulfillment cycle
  • Utilize business unit tracking systems to manage customer requests and order activity
  • Resolve customer disputes and issue credit/debit memos as needed
  • Process samples and rebates
  • Maintain compliance with quality standards and internal procedures
  • Support Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX 404) compliance processes related to customer service
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and process enhancements
  • Work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders to ensure customer satisfaction

Requirements

Do you have experience in Productivity software?, Do you have a Bachelor's degree?, * College degree required; Bachelor's degree preferred

  • Previous customer service experience in a professional business environment
  • Experience with SAP-R3 or equivalent ERP system required
  • Minimum 6 months to 1 year of SAP experience, including order entry, delivery creation, and invoicing
  • Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Office skills, especially Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills across multiple functional groups
  • Ability to multitask and manage priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong organizational and follow-up skills
  • Demonstrated flexibility and adaptability to changing business needs
  • Ability to identify process improvement opportunities and implement change

Preferred Qualifications

  • Knowledge of Sales-to-Cash (STC) and Requisition-to-Pay (RTP) processes
  • Experience with Salesforce.com and SharePoint
  • Understanding of inventory management and supply chain operations
  • Experience with project management and change management initiatives
