Clark Logic is a growing, multi-location company. The IT Manager plays a key role in strengthening operational discipline, enforcing standards, and ensuring our systems remain reliable as the business continues to expand.
This is a senior operational leadership role. The IT Manager owns day-to-day IT execution across the company and is expected to exercise sound judgment in how work is prioritized and completed.
New requests and project ideas will regularly surface from across the business. The right candidate will evaluate what is necessary, what is feasible, and what should be deferred, maintaining steady progress without overextending the team or destabilizing operations. This role requires authority, discipline, and follow-through.
The IT Manager will exercise disciplined judgment in operational and technical decisions, prioritizing long-term standardization, system maintainability, and alignment with established cybersecurity best practices.
Working in partnership with the fractional CTO, this position has a clear opportunity to grow into broader technology leadership responsibility as the company continues to mature.
What You'll DoOperational Leadership
- Own daily IT operations across all locations
- Maintain system uptime, network reliability, and service continuity
- Make operational decisions that enforce standards and protect stability
- Serve as the primary operational bridge between IT and department leaders
Helpdesk & Team Oversight
- Manage helpdesk ticket flow, response standards, and service quality
- Step in to resolve complex or urgent issues directly when needed
- Develop internal support staff and improve overall consistency
MDM & Platform Consolidation (Key Initiative)
- Lead rollout of a consolidated MDM platform across company endpoints
- Enforce device compliance and configuration baselines
- Support structured integration and coexistence of Microsoft 365 and Google Workspace
- Maintain consistent identity and access controls across platforms
Infrastructure & Endpoint Governance
- Own device lifecycle management - procurement through retirement
- Maintain accurate asset inventory and hardware forecasting
- Ensure network and infrastructure reliability across locations
Identity & Security
- Enforce access management standards and least-privilege practices
- Maintain MFA, provisioning discipline, and patch compliance
- Oversee backups and disaster recovery readiness
- Reduce recurring issues through root-cause correction and standardization
Project & Priority Management
- Evaluate incoming technology requests against operational priorities
- Sequence work based on capacity and business impact
- Communicate clearly when initiatives must be phased or deferred
- Maintain focus on completing active projects before launching new ones
- Keep work-in-progress visible, organized, and controlled
Vendor & Budget Oversight
- Manage vendor relationships and service performance
- Support annual IT operating and capital planning
- Align purchasing decisions with long-term standards and architecture, * Consolidated MDM platform deployed and enforced across endpoints
- Clear device compliance standards with measurable reporting
- Stable and structured coexistence between Microsoft 365 and Google Workspace
- Helpdesk operations are organized, measurable, and consistent
- Recurring technical issues are reduced through disciplined root-cause fixes
- Active initiatives are tracked, prioritized, and completed in an orderly manner
- Documentation maturity significantly improves
- The IT function operates with increasing independence and reduced executive oversight
Pay: $70,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
Requirements
Do you have experience in Task prioritization?, * Experience leading IT operations in a multi-location environment

Strong infrastructure, cloud, and endpoint management experience

Experience managing helpdesk operations

Experience implementing or consolidating an MDM platform

Working knowledge of Microsoft 365 and Google Workspace environments

Demonstrated ability to prioritize, sequence work, and maintain operational stability

Strong communication skills and professional judgment

Working knowledge of Center for Internet Security (CIS) Controls and CIS Benchmarks, with the expectation of helping guide the organization toward increased operational alignment with established cybersecurity best practices

Ability to evaluate risk and make disciplined operational decisions that improve security, standardization, and long-term maintainability

· Familiarity with ERP, accounting, warehouse, or logistics systems.
