Job description

We are seeking a Linux Systems Engineer with a strong background in automation, Java development/scripting, and emerging AI-driven solutions. This role sits at the intersection of Linux administration, intelligent automation, and QA efficiency, working closely with our automation and AI teams to modernize and scale our systems and testing practices.

You will collaborate with peers locally in Denver and with our Automation team in St. Louis, contributing to initiatives focused on agentic AI, CI/CD automation, and improving QA analysis through smarter, more efficient tooling.

Key Responsibilities:

Linux Systems & Automation:

Administer, support, and optimize Linux-based environments used for application delivery, automation, and AI workloads

Design, build, and maintain automation frameworks using Java and scripting to streamline operational and QA workflows

Support and monitor automated agents, including agentic AI systems, ensuring stability, performance, and accuracy

AI & Intelligent Automation:

Partner with the automation and AI teams to expand the use of AI-driven solutions, including agent-based automation

Review, validate, and improve AI-generated outputs, agent behavior, and supporting documentation

Help integrate AI capabilities into existing automation pipelines and system workflows

Support message-driven and asynchronous workflows (e.g., Amazon Queue-based integrations)

Testing Enablement:

Create and maintain automated and manual test frameworks aligned with development and QA needs

Translate Jira stories and tasks into executable test cases, identifying opportunities to automate versus manualize

Improve overall QA analysis efficiency by identifying repeatable patterns and automating them

  • Hands-on experience with automation frameworks and scripting

  • Experience working with Jira, including test case creation and tracking
