Job description
The IT Director will provide technical support for hardware, software, and network systems, ensuring business continuity across multiple branch locations. This role is responsible for diagnosing and resolving system issues, installing and configuring equipment, and coordinating with external vendors for escalated issues. The position will also assist in system upgrades, monitor asset inventory, and ensure smooth user access management across multiple business systems., * Diagnose and resolve software, hardware, and networking issues in a timely and professional manner.
- Provide support for desktop operating systems and a wide range of business applications.
- Troubleshoot Active Directory and user account management issues.
- Install, configure, and maintain IT equipment including desktops, laptops, and peripherals.
- Maintain and track inventory of IT-related assets.
- Support and maintain hardware/software for printers, scanners, telephones, and network devices.
- Take ownership of technical issues, implementing solutions or escalating to vendors when appropriate.
- Manage and issue purchase orders for IT-related needs.
- Onboard new users by setting up access in key systems (Email, CRM, Sage 300, etc.).
- Collaborate with external IT service providers (MSPs) to resolve advanced technical issues.
- Assist with projects and upgrades related to IT infrastructure, systems, and security.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
Do you have experience in macOS?, * Minimum of 2 years of experience in IT support, Service Desk, or similar role.
- MSP (Managed Service Provider) experience preferred.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office 365 & Azure.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Active Directory and Remote Desktop Services.
- Experience working with ticketing systems.
- Familiarity with networking equipment (firewalls, switches, access points).
- Hands-on experience with Microsoft Windows 11 and MacOS environments.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools.
- CMMC knowledge and/or experience preferred.
- AI governance/risk assessment/compliance.
- Infrastructure and cybersecurity oversight.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- Problem-solving mindset with strong analytical skills and deliver measurable outcomes.
- Flexibility to adapt to evolving business needs.
