Serve as the security engineering subject matter expert on development teams to influence system architecture and ensure security control integration.

Install, configure, and maintain hardware and software to maximize system availability and monitor network performance.

Validate and verify system security requirements definitions and analysis to establish and maintain system security baselines.

Support security authorization activities in compliance with DoD RMF and NIST RMF processes for security engineering.

Engineer and implement security-focused scripts and automation tools to streamline vulnerability management and compliance checks.

Facilitate system accreditation efforts to secure ATO and IATT authorizations by coordinating control assessments and auditing compliance.
Requirements

Bachelor's degree and at least at least 4+ years of progressively responsible experience in Information Systems Security. A minimum of 7+ years' experience without a degree.

Significant experience performing ISSE duties including influencing system architecture and integrating security controls within the SDLC

Experience conducting vulnerability management using ACAS scanning, STIGs, and patching to ensure system integrity

Proven experience navigating RMF processes and facilitating accreditation efforts for ATO and IATT authorizations Active DoD 8570/8140 Baseline Certification such as CASP+, CYSA+, or Security Preferred Qualifications:

Bachelor of Science in Information Systems Security or a related technical field

Experience with cloud security platforms including AWS Cloud Practitioner and Azure Fundamentals certifications

Advanced expertise in endpoint security applications such as Trend Micro, Carbon Black, or FireEye

Experience leading Agile/Scrum sprints and utilizing Azure DevOps for task planning and backlog grooming
Clearance Requirements:
- Must possess active Top Secret clearance and be able to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI and SAP clearance eligibility.
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able and willing to perform occasional manual labor and warehouse duties, with the ability to lift up to 50 pounds. Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time.
