Job description
- Perform daily, monthly and annual audits of the network
- Provide technical support for hardware, software, and network issues to end-users
- Manage and maintain computer systems, including desktops, laptops, and peripherals
- Assist with inventory control procedures for technology equipment
- Support the setup and configuration of VPNs, firewalls, and other security measures
- Maintain and update IT infrastructure components including LANs and network devices
- Perform regular system updates, backups, and security patches to ensure optimal performance
- Support help desk operations by resolving user inquiries efficiently with excellent customer service skills
- Collaborate on projects related to computer hardware upgrades and network improvements
- Document procedures and maintain accurate records of technical issues and resolutions
Requirements
Do you have experience in IT?, We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented IT Assistant to support our organization's technology infrastructure. The ideal candidate will assist with technical support, computer management, and troubleshooting across various platforms., * Maintain confidentiality
- Knowledge of aviation helpful
- Excellent communication skills for effective customer service and team collaboration
- Strong organizational skills
- Strong knowledge of technical support practices for both hardware and software issues
- Proficiency in computer management, Windows operating systems, and desktop support
- Experience with, Microsoft Office Suite applications, and general software troubleshooting
- Familiarity with computer networking concepts including Hyper-V, LAN setup, VPNs, firewalls, and network security protocols
- Familiarity with VOIP telecommunications
- Familiarity with Disaster Recovery Preparation and Testing (from a Technology perspective)
- Ability to manage computer hardware components effectively
- Knowledge of IT infrastructure components and maintenance procedures
- Ability to troubleshoot issues related to operating systems and network connectivity efficiently
- Professional appearance and attitude is required
- Ability to read, write, understand and speak English is required
- Satisfactory pre-employment drug screening and background check results will be required
Physical Requirements and Conditions
- Must be able to stand, sit, or walk for prolonged periods of time
- Ability to bend, stoop, carry push, or pull
- Occasionally, position will require work in an environment where there are fumes, building temperature fluctuations, noise, fuels, oils, chemicals, dirt and dust.
Education and/or Experience
Must have a minimum of 3 years of experience in IT roles
