Job description

In your new role as Senior Data Analyst for Marketing & Communications Insights, you create insights and visualize and provide data to drive strategic actions across the organization. You will define program requirements for data and visualize by creating and optimizing sophisticated dashboards, help drive KPI development, and support the organization to become data driven. You will also monitor and report on database quality metrics, present insights to Senior Management, and document data schemas. You are an expert in using data from the cloud/data lake and in combining and harmonizing multiple data sources to derive key insights that influence strategic decision-making., * Leading the central data program for our team by coordinating and aligning all data requests with stakeholders including Senior Management and engineering teams

  • Creating insights and visualizing data to drive strategic actions and business decisions
  • Analyzing account and contact data, campaign data, and linking it to sales performance and business impact
  • Defining program requirements for data and visualizing by creating and optimizing sophisticated dashboards for executive reporting
  • Supporting KPI development and helping the organization to become data-driven
  • Monitoring and reporting on database quality metrics
  • Presenting information and documenting data schemas to Senior Management and key stakeholders
  • Driving further evolution of our MarCom Data Domain within the Siemens Data Cloud

Requirements

Do you have experience in Scrum?, Do you have a Master's degree?, * Education: Master's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Business Administration, or comparable discipline

  • Experience and Skills:
  • Several years of professional experience in data analysis and insights generation
  • Strong proficiency in PowerBI and Snowflake
  • Familiarity with MAP and SFA systems, as well as CDP/MDM solutions
  • Strong data evaluation skills with the ability to extract and interpret data from various sources and transform it into insights and recommendations
  • Experience applying AI/ML technologies in data processes and analytics
  • Experience running experiments and MVPs on AI/ML based data processing
  • Strong affinity to IT and data in general
  • Ways of Working: Experienced using agile project management methods such as Scrum within a professional tool environment (Jira, Confluence); ability to translate business requirements into technology & data needs and visualization; strong presentation skills with experience communicating insights to Senior Management; proven ability to coordinate and align stakeholder requirements across business units
  • Languages: Business fluent in English, additional languages welcome
