Job description
As a Senior Propulsion Integration Engineer, you will be involved in aspects of the full engineering lifecycle which could include anything from concept development, trade studies, requirements definition, safety assessment, integration testing and Qualification/Certification.
This is a good opportunity to consolidate core systems engineering principles, with exposure to different aspects of the engineering lifecycle and engagement with different interfacing disciplines, suppliers and customers. You will also gain experience working with internationally diverse teams including other aircraft companies and Engine manufacturers.
Core duties:
- Liaising with other engineering and project areas in a collaborative environment to develop engineering solutions
- Planning, performing and guiding engineering tasks dependent on lifecycle phase; which could include requirements development, system and equipment design and development, trade studies, technology management and selection, modelling and analysis, system integration, qualification and certification, Testing (Physical and Simulated), and Safety Case delivery
- Reviewing and approving specifications, reports and proposals, ensuring technical accuracy and task requirements have been achieved, As a Senior Propulsion Integration Engineer within the Flight Systems department, you will be responsible for a variety of activities contributing to the integration of the propulsion system onto the aircraft.
The opportunity is within a shared service which supports numerous projects and platforms in the Air Sector.

Requirements
Do you have experience in Systems engineering?, * Degree or equivalent experience in relevant STEM subject (Aeronautical / Aerospace, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering/Physics/Maths/Science)
- Demonstrable knowledge of the system engineering lifecycle with ability to apply good systems engineering practices to your work
- Experience in Propulsion, Mechanical, Fluid or Control Systems Engineering, preferably in an aerospace application or in a similar engineering or technology focussed industry
