Job description

We're looking for a hands-on Lead Software Engineer to help build and scale a modern cloud-first platform within a fast-growing, technology-driven business.

This is a key leadership role where you'll help shape engineering standards, architecture, delivery practices and team culture as the business continues to scale its in-house engineering capability.

You'll lead a small international team of engineers, working closely with product, data and infrastructure teams to deliver high-quality, scalable software in a fast-moving environment.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Leading and mentoring a small engineering team
  • Driving best practice across architecture, CI/CD, automated testing and secure coding
  • Building scalable cloud-native solutions in Microsoft Azure
  • Working closely with stakeholders to turn business requirements into technical delivery
  • Exploring and implementing new technologies, including AI-assisted development tools
  • Helping shape engineering culture, standards and future hiring

Requirements

Do you have experience in SQL?, * Strong experience with:

  • Microsoft Azure
  • C#
  • Kubernetes / AKS
  • SQL & NoSQL databases
  • CI/CD pipelines & automated testing
  • Strong understanding of scalable architecture and secure development practices
  • Proven experience leading and mentoring engineers in a high-performing environment
  • Excellent communication skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
